Fast-rising Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur just about a year after arriving in Europe from Ikon Allah FC in Kaduna, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.\n<\/p>\n
According to a report by Expressen (via Sport Witness), Tottenham are monitoring the highly rated winger, who currently plays for AIK.\n<\/p>\n
The 18-year-old joined AIK last summer and has impressed since breaking into the first team this season, registering four goals and three assists in 15 appearances.\n<\/p>\n
His performances have attracted interest from several European clubs, with Tottenham among those keeping close tabs.<\/p>\n
Spurs scouts were in Sweden last Thursday to watch Yohanna in action during AIK\u2019s 2\u20131 defeat to Degerfors IF. The teenager started on the right flank and completed the full 90 minutes.\n<\/p>\n
Reacting after the match to reports of Tottenham\u2019s interest, Yohanna played down the attention.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, I don\u2019t know. I didn\u2019t know there were scouts here. I\u2019m just focusing on my game. My focus is completely on AIK,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
When asked about his long-term ambitions, he added: <\/p>\n
\u201cOf course I have a dream.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
Despite his side\u2019s victory, Degerfors IF manager Henok Goitom praised Yohanna\u2019s performance, revealing that special tactical measures were taken to contain him.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cYohanna is an exceptional player. I love watching him play\u2014he plays with a street football style,\u201d Goitom said.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cWe told Samba Diatara that he is very good, and to Elias Barsoum that we needed to double up on him.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
Yohanna signed for AIK on June 29, 2025, agreeing to a contract that runs until December 2029.\n<\/p>\n
He made his debut on August 17, 2025, coming on as an 89th-minute substitute against IFK G\u00f6teborg at Gamla Ullevi in a 2\u20131 defeat. Three days later, he made his first start, playing the full match in a Svenska Cupen qualifying fixture against Hudiksvalls FF, which AIK won 7\u20130.<\/p>\n
On March 9, 2026, Yohanna scored his first two goals for AIK in a 4\u20130 win over BK H\u00e4cken at Strawberry Arena, securing qualification for the quarter-finals of the Swedish Cup. He maintained his scoring form in the quarter-final against GAIS, netting one of AIK\u2019s goals, although the team lost 3\u20132 and exited the competition.\n<\/p>\n
