The project marks the vessel\u2019s first assignment since entering service.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Wind Orca has undergone maintenance and mobilisation across multiple ports, including Port Esbjerg, Odense Port and the Port of Tyne, which will serve as the loadout base for secondary steel.<\/p>\n<p>Cadeler is set to carry out the full foundation transportation and installation (T&amp;I) scope for the project over the coming year. <\/p>\n<p>As previously reported, the foundation commissioning works will be supported by the service operations vessel (SOV)\u00a0Esvagt Froude, which will mobilise from the Port of Hull in England.<\/p>\n<p>The monopile foundations for Hornsea 3 are being delivered by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/2026\/02\/11\/first-hornsea-3-monopiles-arrive-in-uk-from-spain\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Haizea Wind Group<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offshorewind.biz\/2026\/03\/02\/dajins-new-deck-carrier-transporting-hornsea-3-monopiles-from-china-to-uk\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dajin Heavy Industry<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Developed by \u00d8rsted, Hornsea 3 will feature 197 Siemens Gamesa\u2019s 14 MW turbines and is expected to be operational in 2027.
