Superbooth is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Happy Birthday! The trade fair, convention, and festival began with a manageable number of brands, estimated at 50-100.<\/p>\n
These days, they break new records every year. Almost 300 developer brands are registered for Superbooth 2026. To visit and cover all 300 developers would take me a week or even more. So please understand that I can\u2019t cover everything this year either.<\/p>\n
Looking at the almost endless list on the official website, you\u2019ll find developers from all over the world. Boutique companies, small businesses, all the way up to big players. Hardware as well as software.<\/p>\n
Big players like Arturia and Focusrite group, with their brands Novation, Sequential, and Oberheim, will be there. After a long hiatus, Roland is also returning to Superbooth with its own booth. That\u2019s a surprise, and the location is, too.<\/p>\n
The Japanese company and its Roland Future Design Lab aren\u2019t in the rather monotonous, high-noisy gym, but for the first time in the Bungalow area, where you\u2019d also find Doepfer or Vermona.<\/p>\n
Surprisingly, not all the major players are present this year. Moog Music and Akai Pro, for example, are completely absent. Moog\u2019s absence from such a trade show is somewhat disappointing.\u00a0<\/p>\n Teenage Engineering is also not participating this year. So, no field desk to be seen in the wild. However, they have a product launch event in Berlin. This makes room for new developers such as AUXY from Sweden, who developed the SVENSSON 49<\/a> synthesizer.<\/p>\n And Eurorack enthusiasts needn\u2019t worry. Superbooth 2026 has an absurdly large number of module brands. Befaco, Doepfer, Joranalogue, Klavis, Shakmat, Acid Rain, Clank, Xaoc Devices, and many more will have a booth.<\/p>\n But some will be missing this year, such as Endorphin.es,\u00a0Rides in the Storm, Cre8audio, Pittsburgh Modular, and others. Their place will be taken by other companies that may celebrate their premiere here.<\/p>\n Superbooth 2026 will definitely be a blast again. I expect lots of new releases, but due to the current situation, I\u2019m guessing slightly fewer than a few years ago.
