LEGO and SEGA have just announced that a SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) console set is coming later this year.<\/p>\n

For all you fans of the SEGA tower of power like me, LEGO is making a SEGA Genesis (aka the Mega Drive) set, and it\u2019s surprisingly affordable.<\/p>\n

The unit is available for purchase starting June 1st, and will cost you $39.99 \/ \u00a334.99 \/ \u20ac39.99.<\/p>\n

Here are the \u2018spec\u2019 straight from LEGO and a gallery of beauty shots:<\/p>\n

Measurements: The set measures over 1.5 in. (4 cm) high, 6 in (16 cm) wide and 4.5 in (12 cm) deep, while the controllers measure over 1 in. (2 cm) high, 3 in (8 cm) wide and 9.5 in. (24 cm) deep<\/p>\n

What\u2019s included: The building kit includes 2 detachable controllers, a game card that can be taken out of the console, plus sticker decorations<\/p>\n

It would go on to sell just over 30 million units and have a wild range of accessories, that I and my brother owned most of. The SEGA CD and 32x for the original model were dubbed the \u201cTower of Power\u201d by those crazy enough to buy it.<\/p>\n
