(Image credit: Instagram) Jaguar TCS Racing\u2019s Mitch Evans did the unexpected at the Berlin E-Prix on Sunday, claiming victory after starting from the back of the grid. This marks Evans\u2019s second win and fourth podium of the season. Joining him in second place was Nissan\u2019s Oliver Rowland, who also recorded the fastest lap at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit. Pascal Wehrlein, who started from pole position on home soil, completed the podium in third.<\/p>\n<p>Mitch Evans wins Berlin E-Prix Part 2<\/p>\n<p>Mitch Evans\u2019s second win, following his victory at the Miami E-Prix, comes just days after the Jaguar driver announced he will leave the team at the end of the season. Porsche\u2019s Pascal Wehrlein looked set for second place, but Oliver Rowland made a decisive move during a yellow-flag phase to secure P2. Wehrlein continues to lead the championship standings this season.Both Evans and Rowland climbed the Formula E Drivers\u2019 Standings. Evans moved up to second place, overtaking Edoardo Mortara, who drops to third. Rowland, meanwhile, now sits fourth in the title race.Fresh from his win at the 6 Hours of Imola, Envision Racing\u2019s Sebastien Buemi narrowly missed out on the podium, finishing fourth. Rowland\u2019s Nissan team-mate Norman Nato collected his first points of the season with a fifth-place finish.Andretti\u2019s Jake Dennis secured sixth place, followed by Mahindra Racing\u2019s Edoardo Mortara in seventh. DS Penske\u2019s Jean-\u00c9ric Vergne finished eighth, ahead of Andretti\u2019s Felipe Drugovich in ninth and Envision Racing\u2019s Joel Eriksson in tenth.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers who failed to score points at the Berlin E-Prix <\/p>\n<p>DS Penske\u2019s Taylor Barnard, who started on the front row after qualifying second, missed out on points after finishing 11th.It was a home race for Maximilian Gunther, but it proved to be a difficult outing. He received a three-place grid penalty for impeding Andretti\u2019s Jake Dennis at the exit of Turn 5 during qualifying and ultimately finished 15th in the Round 8 race.Porsche driver Nico Muller had won the opening race of the Berlin E-Prix on Saturday.Nick Cassidy, who now races for Citroen Racing, secured a podium on Saturday but failed to finish Sunday\u2019s race. He had won the Berlin E-Prix for the past three consecutive years.
