No matter when you grew up, there\u2019s a good chance Winnie the Pooh was a part of your childhood, moseying around the Hundred Acre Wood and getting distracted by jars of honey. I\u2019m a \u201990s baby, so my introduction came via The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but the character dates back to 1925, when British author A.A. Milne published the short story<\/a> \u201cThe Wrong Sort of Bees\u201d in the London Evening News.<\/p>\n

Since then, Pooh has popped up in dozens of movies, TV shows, and books\u2014 so it\u2019s no surprise that LEGO<\/a> just dropped a new Winnie the Pooh set<\/a> in honor of the character\u2019s 100th anniversary. The Winnie the Pooh LEGO set was announced earlier this week, and it\u2019s currently available for pre-order on the official LEGO website. Orders will be shipped starting March 1.<\/p>\n

The 1,399-piece Winnie the Pooh set includes a buildable Pooh and a \u201chunny\u201d pot that opens to reveal two rooms to store Pooh and Eeyore LEGO minifigures. Pooh, who stands about 9 inches tall when built, can be posed in a few ways, with different head, ear, and arm options. The LEGO site notes there are a couple of \u201chidden surprises\u201d to be discovered during the build when you switch up his pose.<\/p>\n

Many LEGO fans were instantly smitten with the smiling Pooh bear. \u201cWelp…. there goes my check,\u201d commented one person on LEGO collector Jay Ong\u2019s post<\/a> about the set. \u201cSo adorable omg!\u201d wrote another.<\/p>\n

However, a few fans had some hilarious comments on Pooh\u2019s LEGO look. \u201cLooks kinda cursed, ngl,\u201d someone said. \u201cThey look haunted,\u201d wrote another.<\/p>\n
