(Peter Boer\/Bloomberg)<\/p>\n<p>The Dutch Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators called the ban on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/science\/air-and-space\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">airline advertising<\/a> a disproportionate blow to commercial freedom, according to BBC News.<\/p>\n<p>Supporters, however, are framing the policy as a broader cultural shift \u2014 even <a href=\"https:\/\/noticias.foxnews.com\/travel\/popular-italian-city-officially-bans-cigarette-smoking-outdoors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">comparing meat ads to cigarette campaigns<\/a> of decades past.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because if I look now back at like old pictures, you have Johan Cruyff,&#8221; Hannah Prins, a paralegal at Advocates for the Future, told the outlet. &#8220;The famous Dutch footballer. \u2026 He would be in advertisements for tobacco. That used to be normal. He died of lung cancer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prins added, &#8220;I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s normal to see murdered animals on billboards.
