Air Canada has nixed a fourth weekly flight between Montreal and Berlin, which had been scheduled to operate 23AUG26 to 07SEP26.<\/p>\n

The change was first noted by AeroRoutes<\/a>, which also reports the airline will not introduce Airbus A321XLR service between Montreal and Los Angeles as previously planned. Instead, scheduled service will operate with the 737 MAX 8.<\/p>\n

According to aviation consultancy Ailevon Pacific, the airline is also reducing capacity from Vancouver International (YVR) to Halifax (YHZ), Quebec City (YQB) and Miami (MIA), as well as trimming Toronto (YYZ) to St. Maarten (SXM). No specific frequency reductions have been disclosed yet.<\/p>\n

These changes followed on the heels of Air Canada\u2019s decision to drop Montreal\u2013Algiers for the summer 2026 season (01JUN\u201323SEP), the seventh route<\/a> to be removed from its schedule in recent weeks. On 17APR, the carrier said rising jet fuel prices were \u201caffecting some lower profitability routes and flights which now are no longer economically feasible.”<\/p>\n
