European Lithium Ltd (ASX:EUR, OTCQB:EULIF)<\/a> has reported a fresh set of high-grade drilling results from the Tanbreez Rare Earths Project in southern Greenland, highlighting expanding mineralisation across multiple zones and reinforcing the project\u2019s scale and long-term development potential.<\/p>\n

The results, drawn from the final assays of the 2025 drilling campaign, cover both the established Fjord Deposit and a newer target known as Area B, located immediately east of the Hill Zone Deposit.<\/p>\n

The company says the data points to strong geological continuity, near-surface mineralisation and scope for meaningful resource growth ahead of a planned 2026 drill season.<\/p>\n

Tanbreez is operated by Critical Metals Corp, in which European Lithium holds a 37.5% stake, giving it substantial exposure to one of the world\u2019s largest peralkaline-hosted rare earth systems.<\/p>\n

The most notable takeaway from the update is the performance of Area B, where broad-spaced reconnaissance drilling returned thick, consistent rare earth intersections across a highly prospective 1.75-kilometre corridor.<\/p>\n

Area B – over 1,750m strike length of TREO mineralisation<\/p>\n

Key results included:<\/p>\n

132 metres at 0.46% total rare earth oxide + yttium (TREO+Y) from surface in hole 25-D10<\/p>\n

128 metres at 0.43% TREO+Y from surface in hole 25-D13<\/p>\n

Multiple stacked mineralised intervals in holes 25-D16 and 25-D17, including 82 metres at 0.44% TREO+Y and a higher-grade 2-metre zone at 0.61% TREO+Y<\/p>\n

Across the 2025 program, Area B drilling returned TREO+Y grades ranging from roughly 0.35% to 0.61%, with heavy rare earth oxides (HREO) consistently accounting for around 21\u201327% of the total rare earth content.<\/p>\n

European Lithium said the wide drill spacing means the area remains early-stage, but the continuity observed to date suggests Area B could represent a significant eastern extension of the existing Hill Deposit mineralisation.<\/p>\n

Final assay results from the northeastern end of the Fjord Deposit also delivered consistent grades and confirmed the mineralised system remains open.<\/p>\n

Highlights from holes 25-D14 and 25-D15 included:<\/p>\n

The mineralisation occurs close to surface and shows strong lateral and vertical continuity, supporting the case for further step-out drilling and a potential upgrade to the Mineral Resource Estimate.<\/p>\n

The company said the Fjord and Upper Fjord results provide a strong technical foundation for extension and infill drilling planned for 2026, with an eye on optimising future pit designs and advancing mine planning studies.<\/p>\n

Beyond headline grades, the latest results continue to underline Tanbreez\u2019s favourable rare earth mix, with HREOs making up roughly 26\u201327% of TREO+Y across the 2025 drilling.<\/p>\n

Assays also confirmed the presence of several strategically important associated elements, including gallium, hafnium, yttrium, cerium, niobium, tantalum and zirconium. These elements are considered increasingly important in advanced manufacturing, defence applications and next-generation technologies.<\/p>\n

The combination of scale, grade consistency and by-product potential reinforces Tanbreez\u2019s standing as a globally significant rare earth system, European Lithium said.<\/p>\n

Critical Metals CEO Tony Sage said the new results further extend confidence in Tanbreez\u2019s broader mineralised footprint and long-term development potential.<\/p>\n

\u201cImportantly, the new assay data is expected to add further mineralised tonnage to the existing Hill and Fjord Deposits, supporting a potential uplift in scale and continuity across a significantly larger project footprint,\u201d he said. \u201cThis reinforces Tanbreez as a strategic, long-life rare earth asset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Planning is now under way for the 2026 field season, with proposed drilling focused on defining scale, improving continuity and supporting future resource and mine planning studies.<\/p>\n

While European Lithium\u2019s core focus remains on lithium assets in Europe and Australia, its substantial shareholding in Critical Metals gives it leveraged exposure to Tanbreez at a time of growing geopolitical interest in secure rare earth supply chains.<\/p>\n

As of February 9, 2026, European Lithium\u2019s stake in Critical Metals was valued at about A$769 million, underlining the financial significance of Tanbreez\u2019s ongoing technical progress.<\/p>\n
