The driver had won a race at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit for three consecutive seasons, and there was little doubt that he would leave Berlin without a podium. He proved his fans right by finishing second in the Round 7 race. It was not a win after his hat-trick of victories, but it was certainly his fourth consecutive podium at the Berlin E-Prix, although this time he was driving for Citroen Racing.<\/p>\n

Nick Cassidy continued his podium streak at the Berlin E-Prix this season, finishing second to Porsche\u2019s Nico Muller. He was delighted for Muller, who became a first-time Formula E winner while driving Porsche\u2019s Pink Pig livery in his 69th race.Sharing his thoughts on securing a podium at the challenging Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit, Cassidy said, \u201cI had a lot of fun today, that was an awesome Formula E race! My team did a really good job with the comms all the way through. I think in these races sometimes you\u2019ve got to accept that the win\u2019s not really on, but you still want a good result, and I probably managed that a bit better today than I did in Jarama, so really happy with how we executed it.\u201d\u201cHuge congrats to Nico [Muller], fantastic job \u2013 I think his pace was second to none. He really deserved the win today and I\u2019m really happy for him,\u201d he added.Promoting Cassidy at the Berlin E-Prix, Citroen Racing shared a post announcing his arrival. After his Round 7 podium, Cassidy faced disappointment the next day as he was unable to finish the Round 8 race. He now stands sixth in the Formula E Drivers\u2019 Championship with 69 points. He has secured three podiums so far, including his win at the Mexico City E-Prix. The race has produced title winners for the past three seasons. Cassidy was so pleased with the victory that he fulfilled his promise to shave his head, a pledge he had made if he won.
