In the Danish town of Skive, the Ukrainian community, together with representatives of the organization \u201cLastivka\u201d, planted ten oaks in Skive\u2019s park as a sign of gratitude for the support of the Danish authorities and the residents of Denmark.<\/p>\n
This was announced on its Facebook page by the first Ukrainian radio station in Denmark \u2013 Radio Lastivka.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis initiative was dedicated by the organizers to Danmarks Befrielsesdag (Day of Denmark\u2019s Liberation) \u2013 as a sign of sincere gratitude from Denmark and the city of Skive for the support of Ukraine, solidarity and help to Ukrainians\u201d<\/p>\n

It is noted that ten Ukrainian families, along with children, joined in planting the trees in the park near Skive Museum.<\/p>\n
Tree symbolism and the bond between nations<\/p>\n
Each tree has its own symbolism: a memory of those who were lost, as well as a sign of hope, life, and the future. Part of this initiative is included in the nationwide campaign \u201cOne Million Trees of Memory and Life\u201d (Greening of the Planet).<\/p>\n
\u201cThis avenue in Skive is not only about trees. It is about gratitude, memory, and the strong bond between Ukraine and Denmark\u201d<\/p>\n

As part of the event, it is emphasized that the Ukrainian community continues to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and to support mutual solidarity.<\/p>\n
