In keeping with the theme, the sisters decorated this season’s artist studio venue with vases of white tuberoses, while each seat was adorned with a single hyacinth.

Within the collection itself, florals appeared more subtly, via the immaculate craftsmanship on display: there was a pretty white broderie anglaise blouse featuring delicate 3D flowers; a denim smock dress embroidered with a swirling botanical print; and two black roses that dangled down the open back of a flocked evening gown. Meanwhile, a paisley Liberty print added a folksy feel, as did the white lace aprons tied around the waist.

Those who turn to Skall for their core wardrobe staples won’t be disappointed this season. Given the brisk temperatures in Copenhagen this week, the herringbone wool coats looked particularly appealing. The designers played with silhouette by belting the outerwear at the waist, creating a more polished effect, and it doubled as a handy place to hang one’s mittens.

Soundtracked by the haunting vocals of Nepali singer Varsha Thapa, the intimate candlelit setting was reflective of a simplicity that is at the heart of Danish culture. At the close of Copenhagen Fashion Week’s buzzy 20th anniversary edition, the show proved that sometimes the most successful outings are just about good, wearable clothes.

For fall 2026, Skall Studio’s Julie and Marie Skall were inspired by Danish author Karen Blixen, and in…

[6
108,2985,1079,1153,6584
0":"post-7884","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-copenhagen","8":"tag-copenhagen","9":"tag-copenhagen-fall-2026","10":"tag-runway","11":"tag-runway_review","12":"tag-skall-studio
["GET
