Through its challenge programme, SPRIND is making \u20ac125 million in non-dilutive funding available to support teams working on breakthrough approaches in AI. Over a 24-month process, selected teams can receive staged funding, with the aim of developing up to three European frontier AI labs.<\/p>\n<p>Europe\u2019s role in the current AI transformation<\/p>\n<p>The evening at LAB42 brought together around 150 invited guests for an interactive programme on Europe\u2019s role in the current AI transformation. Speakers and participants reflected on Europe\u2019s strengths: world-class research, engineering talent, strong institutions and a collaborative innovation ecosystem. At the same time, the discussion addressed a familiar challenge: how to translate that talent into breakthrough scale and long-term technological independence.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Hosting the event at LAB42 was a fitting choice.
