The company has officially unveiled a massive new Lord of the Rings set that recreates the legendary city of Minas Tirith in stunning detail.<\/p>\n<p>LEGO unveils its 8,278-piece Minas Tirith set<\/p>\n<p>The Lego Group partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch the largest 8,278-piece Lego LOTR Minas Tirith set as part of the franchise\u2019s 25th anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The build recreates Gondor\u2019s famous White City from The Lord of the Rings. It features towering walls, layered architecture, and the iconic citadel seen in the beloved fantasy films.<\/p>\n<p>According to Lego, the display model combines microscale city elements with detailed interior scenes at minifigure scale. Fans can admire the city skyline from a distance or zoom in on rooms like the throne chamber inside the citadel.<\/p>\n<p>The set also includes 10 minifigures and themed accessories inspired by the films. Lego added Shadowfax, Gandalf\u2019s legendary horse, to complete the collectible build.<\/p>\n<p>Lego described the largest LOTR Minas Tirith set as \u201cone of Middle-earth\u2019s most memorable locations\u201d in its official release announcement. The company also said the set aims to bring the fantasy world to life through intricate details and interactive scenes.<\/p>\n<p>The new release will first become available through Lego Insiders Early Access on June 1. General sales begin on June 4 online and at Lego stores worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The giant collector\u2019s set carries a retail price of $649.99. Fans who purchase the set between June 1 and June 7 will also receive the Lego Icons The Lord of the Rings Grond as a gift with purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Lego also announced a special sweepstakes for Lego Insiders. One lucky winner will receive an all-inclusive trip to the Hobbiton Movie Set in New Zealand, along with the full Lord of the Rings Lego collection.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for the contest remains open until June 30.
