This four-day meet offers a full competition program which gives all competitors a good opportunity to prepare for the upcoming European Junior Championship, European Championships in Paris and Youth Olympic Games in Dakar.<\/p>\n<p>Last year was highlighted by Lukas Martens\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/lukas-martens-throws-down-339-96-world-record-in-400-free-breaking-2009-super-suited-mark\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iconic 400m Free World Record<\/a>, becoming the first man to dip under the 3:40 barrier (3:39.96) and taking down fellow German Paul Biedermann\u2019s legendary mark.<\/p>\n<p>Among the confirmed names so far for this year\u2019s Swim Open are World Champions <a href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/siobhan-haughey\/\" class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Siobhan Haughey Bio\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Siobhan Haughey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/arno-kamminga\/\" class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Arno Kamminga Bio\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arno Kamminga<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/danas-rapsys\/\" class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Danas Rapsys Bio\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Danas Rapsys<\/a>.
