For people looking to explore somewhere new, Liverpool John Lennon Airport has confirmed a new route. The airport confirmed that Ryanair will soon operate twice weekly flights from Liverpool to Copenhagen, taking place on Mondays and Fridays.<\/p>\n

Passengers <\/a>can expect the new route from Monday, October 26, with flights available to book via the Ryanair <\/a>website. According to the official website of Denmark, the country is “big on culture, cooking and coastline”.<\/p>\n

Copenhagen, which is the capital city of Denmark, is described on the website as “Northern Europe\u2019s cosiest capital,” filled with cafes, shops and restaurants to explore.<\/p>\n

Tivoli Gardens, one of the most popular attractions in Denmark, is visited by more than 4m people every year. The amusement park is one of the oldest in the world, dating back to 1843, and offers visitors thrilling rides, beautiful gardens and a blend of old and new that makes it a unique experience.<\/p>\n

One of Denmark’s most recognisable sites is Nyhavn, which used to be one of the hubs for ship merchants. With colourful buildings, it is the perfect place to stop for a selfie and visitors will find plenty of outdoor dining venues to explore. At Christmas time, the area welcomes a market that are sure to get visitors into the festive spirit.<\/p>\n

For visitors who fancy some shopping, Str\u00f8get is the central pedestrian street at the centre of Copenhagen’s major shopping area, with a mix of budget and exclusive brands. Its side streets are packed with restaurants, cafes and other shops.<\/p>\n

Visitors can take in the sights by booking a canal tour, which can be found at Nyhavn or near Christiansborg and will take you past the Opera House, The Black Diamond library and The Little Mermaid sitting on its rock.<\/p>\n

“Spring usually brings bright sunlight and cloudless skies, but if you\u2019re looking for longer evenings and warmer weather<\/a> the best time to visit the Danish capital is during the summer months of June, July and August. Autumn can also be a good time to travel to Copenhagen \u2013 the city\u2019s green spaces, in particular, the Tivoli Gardens are picture perfect.”<\/p>\n
