Harry Styles<\/a> launched his comeback \u2018Together, Together\u2019 tour with a huge opening night in Amsterdam \u2013 check out what went down below, along with photos and the setlist.<\/p>\n

Having previewed the tour with a special one-off concert in Manchester back in March<\/a>, last night saw the pop star kick off his global residency in Amsterdam\u2019s Johan Cruijff Arena, marking the first of 67 performances across seven cities worldwide.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Together, Together\u2019 tour will consist of six nights at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium and a total of 30 shows in New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden, as well as strings of concerts in Amsterdam, S\u00e3o Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne, and Sydney.<\/p>\n

From this month until the run concludes in December, Styles will be joined by names including Robyn<\/a>,\u00a0Shania Twain<\/a>,\u00a0Fcukers<\/a>,\u00a0Jorja Smith<\/a>,\u00a0Jamie xx<\/a>,\u00a0Foushe\u00e9<\/a>, and Skye Newman<\/a> across select dates.<\/p>\n

The tour\u2019s launch follows the release of his fourth solo album, \u2018Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally\u2019<\/a>, with several tracks from his latest album, including \u2018American Girls\u2019, \u2018Aperture\u2019, \u2018Carla\u2019s Song\u2019, Coming Up Roses\u2019, \u2018Ready, Steady, Go!\u2019 and \u2018Taste Back\u2019 all played last night.<\/p>\n

The former One Direction<\/a> singer also played a string of fan favourites with \u2018Golden\u2019, \u2018Adore You\u2019, \u2018Watermelon Sugar\u2019 and \u2018Music for a Sushi Restaurant\u2019.<\/p>\n

Styles went on to introduce what was a pared back version of \u201cthe song we used to end the set with, but now it feels more like a beginning\u201d, before launching into the title track of his second album, \u2018Fine Line\u2019, and promised the next half of the show would have people dancing again.<\/p>\n

Throughout the high-octane concert, which often saw him sprint across the elaborate stage, he paused to addressed the audience, stopping to take note of fans\u2019 signs and at one point, helping one who\u2019d lost her mum to the crowd and leading a \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d singalong for another.<\/p>\n

He closed out the main set with \u2018Carla\u2019s Song\u2019 and \u2018Aperture\u2019, before briefly leaving the stage before wrapping things up with a string band backed \u2018Matilda\u2019, \u2018Sign of the Times\u2019, and \u2018As It Was\u2019.<\/p>\n

When tickets went live for Styles\u2019 upcoming UK dates, there were queues of up to 250,000 people for each of the shows<\/a>, and it was later revealed that he had broken several records at both Wembley and Madison Square Garden thanks to huge demand<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Wembley gigs will see the \u2018As It Was\u2019 singer\u00a0donate \u00a31 from every ticket sold to LIVE\u2019s levy<\/a>, helping to protect UK grassroots music venues and support emerging talent.<\/p>\n

His recent album \u2018Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally\u2019, scored\u00a0four stars in\u00a0<\/a>NME<\/a>,\u00a0which described it as \u201can album that you\u2019ll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope you\u201d. It added: \u201cIt\u2019s the most exploratory album of his career so far, trying out new things and steering his ship in new directions.\u201d<\/p>\n
