After a successful end to the season as interim coach of 1. FC Union Berlin\u2019s men\u2019s team, Marie-Louise Eta will take charge of the club\u2019s women\u2019s team next season.<\/p>\n
This leaves the men\u2019s side in need of a new head coach, and it appears the club bosses have found their preferred candidate.<\/p>\n

According to Bild, FC Thun coach Mauro Lustrinelli has emerged as the front-runner for the job.<\/p>\n
The German tabloid reports that Union are already in talks with the 50-year-old and are currently in pole position to secure his signature ahead of other interested clubs.<\/p>\n
However, in order to appoint Lustrinelli, Union would also need to reach an agreement with FC Thun, where he’s under contract until 2028.<\/p>\n
