Our radios picked up a message from the rumor mill a few days ago that there could be a new set in the LEGO Icons<\/a> theme coming as early as July that should be very interesting for all Classic Space fans. The colorful family of Classic Spacemen is reportedly going to be expanded with a \u201cPinball Machine\u201d (11374).<\/p>\n

The set with number 11374 is reportedly going to build a pinball machine with Classic Space styling and play function according to \u201cBrick Tap\u201d on reddit<\/a> citing various sources, and is is expected to launch at LEGO.com on July 1, 2026. The \u201cPinball Machine\u201d is supposed to cost $199.99 and among the 2,274 pieces, there should also be two new Classic Space figures hidden.<\/p>\n

New additions to the Classic Spacemen?<\/p>\n

The Pinball Machine (11374), which is rumored to go on sale at LEGO.com at the beginning of summer, could reportedly hold a crucial missing puzzle piece for some: the Classic Space helmet in Bright Light Blue, which would enable the first complete light blue Classic Space astronaut. But that\u2019s not all, because the rumor also mentions a Classic Space Baby, which could expand the lineup of LEGO baby astronaut figures.<\/p>\n

There are Classic Space minifigures in many colors and new ones keep being added. Among them, the Classic Spaceman in light blue is currently the only one that has to do without a helmet piece, since this can currently only be assembled from various individual parts and cannot be officially acquired in a set.<\/p>\n

Though with a slightly different face, there\u2019s naturally also the Classic Space micro-astronaut in blue and white. For both types of figures, light blue would be something new.<\/p>\n

To answer the question in the title: If everything happens as described in the rumor, then there would technically be two new figures for Classic Space theme fans: a completely new color among the Space Baby figures and a light blue Classic Spaceman that already existed in parts but would be complete for the first time.<\/p>\n

What could the Pinball Machine look like?<\/p>\n

When you hear the term \u201cPinball Machine,\u201d most people probably think of the large standing model of the arcade game with buttons on the sides that\u2019s operated while standing in arcades. Just in March, rumors surfaced about a Super Mario Donkey Kong Arcade Machine (72051)<\/a>, whose original is also known for its tall stand.<\/p>\n

But a look at the LEGO Icons PAC-MAN Arcade Machine (10323) shows that such a tall model with play function under 3,000 pieces can\u2019t be depicted well with original proportions. That is why a tabletop version would be more realistic for the Pinball Machine from the rumor too. Probably the model would be more in a horizontal orientation, since a \u201cpinball\u201d machine doesn\u2019t contain a screen but rather a real ball on an inclined surface.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the set could also become interesting for GBC fans (Great Ball Contraption<\/a>). We\u2019re excited to see if the info from the rumor mill is confirmed and what the set will look like. Many will be particularly interested in how the ball and the \u201ccourse\u201d inside are solved (especially since these parts in the original are predominantly made of shiny metal), but also whether the small details are solved through prints or stickers and what possible references to previous sets could be made.<\/p>\n
