Manchester United could look to bring in a new left winger this summer, and Ajax\u2019s Mika Godts is emerging as a candidate<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 20-year-old Belgian has been lighting up the Eredivisie and drawing comparisons to some of the finest attackers of his generation.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Predominantly operating from the left and favouring his stronger right foot, Godts has drawn consistent comparisons to Eden Hazard<\/a> for his directness, pace and ability to beat defenders one-on-one.<\/p>\n He has registered 17 goals and 14 assists across all competitions \u2013 one of the most productive campaigns by any winger in European football outside the top five leagues.<\/p>\n Godts recently surpassed 100 appearances for Ajax and made his debut for the senior Belgian national team.<\/p>\n Interim manager Michael Carrick has publicly admitted that United require a right-footed left winger, and Godts fits that profile.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n However, there are significant obstacles.
