He has been held in prison since his arrest and today completes his successful return to Denmark.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe 33 year-old-man is wanted in Denmark to stand trial for offences of murder and possession of a firearm. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe offences occurred in the Aarhus area of Denmark on 8 March 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The statement continues: \u201cToday\u2019s extradition will no doubt be a significant step forward in this murder investigation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cIn this case we worked closely with detectives from the East Jutland Police to locate, arrest and extradite this fugitive. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThis man tried to hide in Northern Ireland using a false identity but he was identified, located, arrested and now extradited to face justice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cOur message is clear. Northern Ireland is not a safe haven for any wanted person trying to avoid arrest and the consequences of their previous actions.
