Low-cost airline Ryanair is continuing to strengthen Croatia’s international connectivity with the launch of a new winter route linking Zagreb and Warsaw.<\/p>\n
The carrier has announced that it will introduce twice-weekly flights between Warsaw Modlin Airport and Zagreb Airport from October 26, providing Croatian travellers with another convenient gateway to the Polish capital during the winter season.<\/p>\n
The new service will operate twice per week and marks a further expansion of Ryanair’s growing presence in Zagreb. While the route will not face direct competition, travellers already have the option of flying between the Croatian and Polish capitals with LOT Polish Airlines, which serves Zagreb from Warsaw’s main airport, Chopin Airport.<\/p>\n
Located around 40 kilometres from central Warsaw, Modlin Airport primarily caters to low-cost carriers and offers easy access to one of Central Europe’s most dynamic cities. The addition of the route is expected to boost both leisure and city-break travel, while also strengthening business and tourism links between Croatia and Poland.<\/p>\n
Poland has become an increasingly important tourism market for Croatia in recent years, with growing numbers of Polish visitors choosing the Adriatic coast for their holidays. Improved year-round air connectivity is expected to further support this trend, while also encouraging Croatian travellers to explore Warsaw and other destinations across Poland.<\/p>\n
The new connection forms part of Ryanair’s wider winter schedule and highlights the continued demand for affordable travel options across Europe.<\/p>\n
