Work is ongoing with officials across the Channel Islands to establish DFDS ferries between Guernsey and Jersey, this winter and next year.<\/p>\n

The Danish-based ferry firm, which won the tender to run Jersey\u2019s services after the pan-island process broke down last year, said schedules \u201cwill be finalised in consultation with Jersey and Guernsey authorities\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It came as the company published its \u201cfull\u201d sailing schedule for 2026, which includes improved times to the UK and day-trip options to France.<\/p>\n

Its high speed ferry Levante Jet will be out of service until May 2026.<\/p>\n

Brittany Ferries, Guernsey\u2019s ferry operator, has committed to continue its once weekly sailing to Jersey on Wednesdays.<\/p>\n

DFDS had offered weekly services between the islands on Mondays, but this ended last month.<\/p>\n

Guernsey-based passenger service Islands Unlimited has said it will announce its 2026 schedule for inter-island ferries soon.<\/a><\/p>\n

Senior politicians in Guernsey say they are committed to protecting sea links between the islands.\u00a0<\/p>\n
