Investors are watching U.S. Arctic strategy and diplomatic moves involving Greenland.<\/p>\n<p>Walter Bloomberg reported on June 3 that Rubio said talks on security cooperation among the U.S., Denmark and Greenland are moving in a positive direction.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions are currently focused on missile defense and expanded military cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Asked whether Greenland is Danish territory, Rubio replied: &#8220;For now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added that talks among the U.S., Denmark and Greenland are being held every month and could eventually expand U.S. defense and military access.<\/p>\n<p>The remarks came after diplomatic friction between the U.S. and Denmark when Washington previously raised the possibility of buying Greenland.
