A Key Role in the Green Transition Samira Nawa succeeds Lars Aagaard (Moderaterne) and assumes office after serving as energy spokesperson for Radikale Venstre over the past four years.<\/p>\n
She holds a Cand.polit. degree from the University of Copenhagen (2007\u20132014) and has undertaken additional studies at the University of Hyderabad (2012) and the London School of Economics (2009). She completed her secondary education as a mathematics student at Roskilde Katedralskole (2004\u20132007).<\/p>\n

Industry organisation Green Power Denmark welcomed the appointment and emphasized the urgency of addressing capacity constraints in the transmission grid.<\/p>\n
Kristian Jensen, CEO of Green Power Denmark, highlighted the importance of rapid action, noting that the organisation looks forward to close cooperation with the new minister on grid expansion, renewable energy growth, and electrification.<\/p>\n
He also pointed to what he described as a critical bottleneck in transmission capacity, calling for immediate measures to strengthen the national grid.\u00a0<\/p>\n
