Praeguseks on pool ehitusmahust juba t\u00e4idetud. Kaitserajatise \u00fclesandeks on takistada j\u00f5esuudme t\u00e4itumist liivaga.<\/p>\n<p>Viimase k\u00fcmne aastaga on Narva j\u00f5e suue v\u00e4hemalt pooleteise meetri v\u00f5rra madalamaks muutunud. Kaitsemuul peab liiva uhtumise j\u00f5esuudmesse peatama, et laevad ka tulevikus Narva j\u00f5kke p\u00e4\u00e4seksid.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;See protsess toimub looduslikult ja tegelikult on juhtunud ning v\u00f5ib ka edaspidi juhtuda, et see m\u00e4tsib kinni Narva j\u00f5e suudme. T\u00e4naseks on ehitajad j\u00f5udnud rannast 260 meetri kaugusele.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Esialgu sellest piisab. See esialgne m\u00f5te oli muidugi muul teha pikemaks ja ma arvan, et kui kunagi raha leitakse, siis ta tehakse ka pikemaks, aga esialgu sellest piisab. Kui see muul on valmis, siis seda j\u00f5esuudme s\u00fcvendamist edaspidi ka ei pea tegema, aga t\u00e4na on siin olemas vastav s\u00fcgavus,&#8221; \u00fctles Vaim.<\/p>\n<p>Muuli tellijaks on Narva-J\u00f5esuu linn, mis loodab, et kaitserajatisest saab ka tore turismiobjekt, kuid lisaks sellele on Eesti idapiirile rajatud muulil selge julgeolekum\u00f5\u00f5de.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;K\u00fcsimus on selles, kas siia saavad sisse s\u00f5ita n\u00e4iteks Eesti laevastiku piiri valvamiseks etten\u00e4htud moodsad Rolls-Royce mootoritega laevad. Nad v\u00f5ivad siia kinni j\u00e4\u00e4da, kui vesi on v\u00e4ga madal. Teine asi on see, et kui vesi on v\u00e4ga madal, siis on ka v\u00e4ga lihtne siit \u00fcle tulla.
