Ta suunas oma \u0161amanistlikult koomilised veed peavoolu ojadesse voolama ja parmupillihullutas publiku t\u00e4ielikult \u00e4ra. Muusikaliselt ta k\u00fcll kuhugi kadunud pole, aga oma albumiga \u201eMeeleheina valvur\u201d on ta teinud p\u00f5ike traditsioonilisema helipildi poole, mis k\u00f5lab tema loomingu kontekstis iroonilisel kombel v\u00e4gagi v\u00e4rskelt.<\/p>\n<p>Taandumine eksperimentaalsemast l\u00e4henemisest ei t\u00e4henda Meisterjaani puhul oma iseloomu ega helikeele mahaj\u00e4tmist, vastupidi, ta toob enda omap\u00e4rase sound\u2019i taaskord meieni, seda nii uut- kui ka vanaviisi. Siin albumil on midagi igale Meisterjaani-s\u00f5brale \u2013 olgu nendeks unelevad ballaadid, nagu \u201eSee on okei\u201d v\u00f5i \u201eEilne kuu\u201d (kuhu, muide, Kadri Voorand sobib nagu valatult), v\u00f5i \u00fclim-\u00fcrgse tonaalsusega r\u00e4nnakud, nagu \u201eMeelehein\u201d ja \u201eKatusepatud\u201d. Elektroonilise k\u00f5la f\u00e4nnidele on aga olukord veits fakdap.<\/p>\n<p>Kiitmata ei saa j\u00e4tta teisi muusikuid, kes plaadil kaasa teevad ja kogu asja tervikuks vorpida aitavad: Aigar Vals, Greta Gr\u00fcnberg, Riste, Tiina Adamson, Valge T\u00fcdruk, Yuan Ying (ma tripin), Kalli Talonpoika ja Juan Siblesz. K\u00f5ik toovad plaadile midagi erilist ja kardinaalselt erinevat. Aplaus neile k\u00f5igile.<\/p>\n<p>Kui r\u00e4\u00e4kida natuke uinamuinamat v\u00f5i tundelisemat juttu, on siin albumil rohkem peidus, kui esmalt arvasin. Nii m\u00f5nigi heliruum puurib tunnetesse, kuhu teistel heliteostel on raske j\u00f5uda. N\u00e4iteks nimitr\u00e4ki \u201eMeelehein\u201d teise minuti kahek\u00fcmne seitsmendal sekundil kuulen ma tuttavat helit\u00fckikest \u201eDisco Elysiumi\u201d heliribalt (\u201eEcstatic Vibrations, Totally Transcendent\u201d). Ilmselt on tegemist t\u00e4ieliku kokkusattumusega, aga see t\u00f5estab mulle, mida ka k\u00f5ige v\u00e4iksemad, justkui k\u00f5rvalised elemendid \u00fcksk\u00f5ik mis teoses \u00fcles t\u00f5mmata v\u00f5ivad. See m\u00f5ttetera peegeldab Meisterjaani enda l\u00e4henemist musitseerimisele \u2013 paljude helimaailmade ja inspiratsiooniallikate sidumine tekitab muusikalise gobel\u00e4\u00e4ni, millel kangastub korralik ports mitmek\u00fclgsust. Viimaks veel Meisterjaani l\u00fc\u00fcrika \u2013 kerge, koomiline ja, mis k\u00f5ige t\u00e4htsam, siiras. Siirus on t\u00e4nap\u00e4eva irooniast l\u00e4biimmutatud kultuuriruumis h\u00e4davajalik. Siiras kunstnik on enesele ja kunstile truu.
