Rakenduse loomise aluseks olund uurimist\u00f6\u00f6 n\u00e4itab, et v\u00e4iksed RNA-molekulid ehk miRNA-d m\u00e4ngivad v\u00f5tmerolli nende haiguste kulu ja diagnoosimise m\u00f5istmisel.<\/p>\n<p>Uurimist\u00f6\u00f6 autori Ankita Sunil Lawarde s\u00f5nul soovis ta oma doktorit\u00f6\u00f6ga leevendada diagnostilisi ja kliinilisi kitsaskohti naiste reproduktiivtervise valdkonnas. Kuigi g\u00fcnekoloogilistel v\u00e4hivormidel ja endometrioosil on sarnaseid molekulaarseid ja metaboolseid jooni, k\u00e4sitletakse neid doktorandi s\u00f5nul sageli eraldiseisvalt.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abMinu eesm\u00e4rk oli v\u00e4lja t\u00f6\u00f6tada arvutuslikud t\u00f6\u00f6riistad, mis kasutaksid erinevat t\u00fc\u00fcpi geeniteavet nende haiguste t\u00e4psemaks diagnoosimiseks,\u00bb r\u00e4\u00e4kis Lawarde. \u00abSamuti tahtsin uurida nii koe- kui ka \u00fcksikraku tasemel, millised mehhanismid m\u00f5jutavad endometrioosi ja teiste g\u00fcnekoloogiliste haiguste teket.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Uuringus selgus, et miRNA-de avaldumismustrite abil on v\u00f5imalik 99 protsendilise t\u00e4psusega tuvastada 14 erinevat v\u00e4hit\u00fc\u00fcpi. MiRNA-d on pisikesed molekulid, mis reguleerivad geenide avaldumist ja m\u00f5jutavad otseselt rakkude paljunemist ja arengut.<\/p>\n<p>Seega m\u00e4ngivad need olulist rolli v\u00e4hibioloogias, sest m\u00f5jutavad nii haiguse progresseerumist kui ka ravi tulemuslikkust. Kuna miRNA-d p\u00fcsivad kehavedelikes stabiilsena, on need potentsiaalsed mitteinvasiivsed biomarkerid, mis v\u00f5iksid tulevikus aidata v\u00e4hki varakult tuvastada, r\u00f5hutas doktorant.<\/p>\n<p>Oma t\u00f6\u00f6s rakendas Lawarde integreeritud oomika l\u00e4henemisi. Selleks anal\u00fc\u00fcsis ta masin\u00f5ppe abil suuri rahvusvahelisi andmebaase, et uurida nii v\u00e4hi kui ka endometrioosi molekulaarseid mustreid senisest p\u00f5hjalikumalt. Lisaks uuris doktorant endomeetriumi kudesid \u00fcksikraku tasandil. Ta avastas, et endometrioosirakkudes toimub v\u00e4hirakkudele iseloomulik ainevahetuse \u00fcmberkorraldus \u2013 nn Warburgi efekt \u2013, mis aitab selgitada haiguse agressiivset kulgu ning loob aluse uute ravisihtm\u00e4rkide leidmiseks.<\/p>\n<p>Lawarde s\u00f5nul aitab ExplORRNet tuua teaduse praktikale l\u00e4hemale. \u00abRakendus v\u00f5imaldab klinitsistidel ja bioloogidel uurida v\u00e4hi ja endometrioosiga seotud molekulaarseid v\u00f5rgustikke ilma, et neil peaks olema masin\u00f5ppe s\u00fcvateadmised,\u00bb lausus ta.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00f6\u00f6 tulemused aitavad paremini m\u00f5ista endometrioosi ja v\u00e4hi tekkemehhanisme, toetades seel\u00e4bi personaal- ja t\u00e4ppismeditsiini arengut g\u00fcnekoloogiliste haiguste ravis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"T\u00f6\u00f6 tulemusena valmis interaktiivne andmeanal\u00fc\u00fcsirakendus ExplORRNet, mis aitab teadlastel visualiseerida g\u00fcnekoloogiliste haiguste molekulaarseid seoseid.
