Sin embargo, al <strong>n\u00famero tres<\/strong> del planeta -que iniciaba la jornada en el <strong>puesto 42<\/strong> de la orden del m\u00e9rito- se le acab\u00f3 resistiendo <strong>Caves Valley<\/strong>. De hecho, con la excepci\u00f3n del <strong>\u00faltimo d\u00eda<\/strong> -en el que firm\u00f3 un <strong>66<\/strong>\u2013 <strong>Xander Schauffele<\/strong> entreg\u00f3 tres cartulinas por encima de los <strong>70<\/strong> que le complicaron enormemente auparse a la parte alta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El deportista de San Diego culmin\u00f3 una semana con un <strong>tres sobre par<\/strong> global que lo acab\u00f3 conduciendo al <strong>Top 28<\/strong> -muy lejos de los puestos altos de la prueba- para despedirse del curso prematuramente en el <strong>Top 42<\/strong> de la <strong>FedEx Cup<\/strong>. Un resultado con el que pone fin a una racha de presencias en el <strong>TOUR Championship<\/strong> que se remontaban al a\u00f1o <strong>2017<\/strong>. \u201cNo hay nada peor que <strong>esforzarse al m\u00e1ximo<\/strong> y jugar como el culo. Es la <strong>peor combinaci\u00f3n<\/strong> posible\u201d, acertaba a comentar el estadounidense ante los medios solo unos minutos despu\u00e9s de entregar la cartulina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHe firmado un <strong>66<\/strong> este domingo, pero daba bastante <strong>igual<\/strong>. Podr\u00eda haber firmado un <strong>59<\/strong> y, aun as\u00ed, haberme quedado <strong>fuera<\/strong> igualmente. Es bastante <strong>deprimente<\/strong> decirlo, pero as\u00ed lo pens\u00e9 al despertarme\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el jugador de las barras y las estrellas, que no obstante a lo acontecido esta semana ha conseguido asegurar su presencia en la <strong>Ryder Cup<\/strong> de <strong>Bethpage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn alg\u00fan momento tengo que sentarme a <strong>reflexionar<\/strong> sobre qu\u00e9 ha podido ocurrir e intentar <strong>aprender<\/strong> algo de esta situaci\u00f3n. Mentalmente ha sido una temporada <strong>larga<\/strong>.
