Hac\u00eda mucho tiempo que no ve\u00edamos al n\u00famero uno del mundo<\/strong> realizar una de sus grandes exhibiciones<\/strong> sobre el campo. Pero en el momento en que se ha puesto manos a la obra ha sido coser y cantar<\/strong>. Scottie Scheffler<\/strong> (61 golpes, -11) se ha convertido en l\u00edder del FedEx St. Jude Championship<\/strong> tras una jornada de mucho nivel<\/strong>. Y es que el deportista de Nueva Jersey ha destrozado el TPC Southwind<\/strong> para colocar su nombre en lo m\u00e1s alto<\/strong> en el ecuador de la prueba.<\/p>\n

Scheffler<\/strong> no solo ha entregado una cartulina con la que ha logrado empatar el r\u00e9cord del campo<\/a><\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n ha aumentado a cuatro<\/strong> el n\u00famero de vueltas con 61 golpes<\/strong> o mejor en el PGA Tour<\/strong>. Scheffler<\/strong> arranc\u00f3 el viernes con una enorme fuerza<\/strong>. Lo hizo con la ayuda de cinco birdies<\/strong> en sus cinco primeras banderas con los que despeg\u00f3<\/strong> en la clasificaci\u00f3n. De hecho, subi\u00f3 su nivel un pelda\u00f1o m\u00e1s gracias al birdie<\/strong> en el 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Poco import\u00f3 que tras este encontrara en el 8<\/strong> el primer error<\/strong> en el d\u00eda, pues la segunda parte de Scheffler<\/strong> fue por los mismos derroteros<\/strong>. En esta, cinco aciertos<\/strong> y un solitario error<\/strong> posibilitaron que el norteamericano finalizara el viernes con un resultado de -11<\/strong> en lo m\u00e1s alto. Tras \u00e9l, el surcoreano Sungjae Im<\/strong> (66 golpes, -8) y el noruego Viktor Hovland<\/strong> (64 golpes, -8) completan un podio<\/strong> del que no se queda muy lejos Nico Echavarr\u00eda<\/strong> (66 golpes, -6).<\/p>\n

El golfista cafetero ha completado su segunda cartulina consecutiva por debajo de los setenta golpes<\/strong> merced a siete aciertos<\/strong> y tres bogeys<\/strong> para colocarse en el Top 5<\/strong>. Desde aqu\u00ed, durante la jornada del movimiento tratar\u00e1 de volver a completar un gran d\u00eda que le permita luchar por el podio<\/strong> y acercarse a ese Top 30<\/strong> de la orden del m\u00e9rito<\/strong> que lo har\u00eda competir en el TOUR Championship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
