Today, the first rehearsals for the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest continue in Vienna.

First rehearsals continue in the Austrian capital today with the first half of Semi-Final Two taking to the stage. First rehearsals see each country given a 30-minute slot on stage to rehearse their entry, allowing for multiple runs through of their performance.

Delegations first submitted their staging plans to the contest organisers in March, with stand-in rehearsals taking place during the past week to enable some pre-first rehearsal changes. Unlike previous years, there will be no video footage released of the rehearsals. Instead, only three approved images will be released of each performance.

The seven countries that are set to take to the stage for the first time are:

🇧🇬 Bulgaria: DARA – “Bangaranga”
🇦🇿 Azerbaijan: Jiva – “Just Go”
🇷🇴 Romania: Alexandra Căpitănescu – “Choke Me”
🇱🇺 Luxembourg: Eva Marija – “Mother Nature”
🇨🇿 Czechia: Daniel Zizka – “Crossroads”
🇦🇲 Armenia: Simón – “Paloma rumba”
🇨🇭 Switzerland: Veronica Fusaro – “Alice”

We will also see the first images from the following countries’ performances today:

🇲🇪 Montenegro: Tamara Živković – “Nova zora”
🇪🇪 Estonia: Vanilla Ninja – “Too Epic to Be True”
🇮🇱 Israel: Noam Bettan – “Michelle”
🇧🇪 Belgium: Essyla – “Dancing on the Ice”
🇱🇹 Lithuania: Lion Ceecah – “Sólo quiero más”
