Bulgaria will host next year’s Eurovision, following Dara’s victory with Bangaranga

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 has drawn to a close with a dramatic, edge-of-your-seat finale as Bulgaria rose to the top of the leader board with her song Bangaranga. Dara captured sufficient support from both the jury panel and public voters to win the 70th edition of the competition at Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle.
This year’s presenting duties fell to singer, model and TV presenter Victoria Swarovski and Austrian actor and screenwriter Michael Ostrowski.
Bulgaria emerged victorious with 516 points, while Israel controversially claimed second place with 343 points and Romania rounded out the top three with 296 points. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter
The champion was decided through a combined points system from national juries and public votes across the 25 participating nations, alongside a separate rest of the world ballot.
Following Remember Monday’s 2025 performance which saw them finish 19th with 46 points, this year’s UK entry Look Mum No Computer finished in 25th with just 1 point. His song Eins, Zwei, Drei accumulated 1 point from the jury vote, having received zero points from the public ballot.
The UK’s national jury results were revealed by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix.
The grand final also featured performances from past Eurovision winners Alexander Rybak who won in 2009 for Norway and Finland’s 2006 winner Lordi. Austria’s winner from 2025, JJ, also returned to the stage to perform his song Wasted Love.
