{"id":102901,"date":"2026-07-26T10:46:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-26T10:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/europe\/102901\/"},"modified":"2026-07-26T10:46:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-26T10:46:08","slug":"china-bars-exports-of-dual-use-goods-to-14-eu-entities-pajhwok-afghan-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/europe\/102901\/","title":{"rendered":"China bars exports of dual-use goods to 14 EU entities \u2013 Pajhwok Afghan News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">KABUL (Pajhwok): China has banned the export of dual-use goods and technologies to 14 additional European Union entities with immediate effect, saying the move is a response to the EU\u2019s latest package of sanctions against Russia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Reuters, China\u2019s Ministry of Commerce announced the measure on Friday after the European Union adopted its 21st package of sanctions against Russia over the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ministry said the sanctions package includes 14 companies from mainland China and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the European entities affected by China\u2019s export restrictions are German defence and automotive manufacturer Rheinmetall AG and Polish electronics company Vigo Photonics S.A.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ministry said foreign organisations and individuals are also prohibited from transferring or supplying China-origin dual-use goods and technologies to the listed entities. However, Chinese exporters may apply for special permission in exceptional cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dual-use items are goods, software and technologies that have both civilian and military applications.
