This followed price increases in each of the previous three quarters of 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"aspect-ratio:3520\/1974;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/EU-input-output-costs-2026.png\" width=\"3520\" height=\"1974\"\/><\/p>\n<p>By contrast, the average price of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture \u2014 inputs not related to investment, such as energy, fertilisers and feedingstuffs \u2014 was unchanged compared with the fourth quarter of 2024, having remained relatively stable throughout 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Output prices decreased in 15 EU countries, with the sharpest declines in Belgium (-12.9%), Lithuania (-8.2%) and Germany (-6.0%). Prices increased in the remaining 12 countries, most notably in Ireland (+6.8%), Slovenia (+5.6%) and Malta (+4.2%).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"aspect-ratio:3516\/1970;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/EU-ag-price-index-2026.png\" width=\"3516\" height=\"1970\"\/><\/p>\n<p>For input prices, declines were recorded in 11 EU countries, led by Cyprus (-2.6%), Belgium (-2.1%) and Sweden (-2.0%), while the sharpest increases were in Lithuania (+4.2%), Ireland (+3.3%) and Romania (+2.5%).<\/p>\n<p>At EU level, milk and cereal prices fell by 4.1% and 8.9% respectively in Q4 2025.
