Hungary\u2019s incumbent Prime Minister P\u00e9ter Magyar pledged to bring the country closer to the European Union after he ended the 16-year-long reign of the country\u2019s longtime authoritative premier Viktor Orban.<\/p>\n

With 97.35 per cent of the votes counted, Magyar\u2019s centre-right party secured 138 seats in the 199-seat parliament.
