ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent is apparently going to air earlier to avoid a clash with the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final\"Ant<\/p>\n

Britain’s Got Talent is reportedly facing a scheduling shake-up.<\/p>\n

The ITV<\/a> programme is currently in its semi-final stage, with judges Simon Cowell<\/a>, KSI<\/a>, Amanda Holden<\/a> and Alesha Dixon<\/a> watching as the hopefuls who made it through the audition rounds vie for a place in the grand final.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest the show’s semi-finals are on course to overlap with the Eurovision Song Contest, which is taking place in Vienna later this month.<\/p>\n

The Britain’s Got Talent <\/a>semi-finals started on April 25 and continued on May 2, with both episodes beginning at 7pm. Further instalments are scheduled for May 9 and May 16, though SuperTV has indicated the May 16 broadcast will begin an hour earlier.<\/p>\n

This adjustment would prevent a clash with Eurovision’s Grand Final, which airs the same evening on the BBC<\/a>, reports the Daily Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SuperTV posted on X: “The 4th Semi Final of Britain’s Got Talent will air at the earlier time of 6-8pm on Saturday 16th May. The Eurovision Song Contest starts at 8pm on BBC One.”<\/p>\n

ITV<\/a> has been approached for comment.<\/p>\n

So far, four performers have secured their places in the final of Britain’s Got Talent, which is presented by Ant and Dec.<\/p>\n

Singer Matty Juniosa advanced after receiving a golden buzzer from Amanda, while Anastasiia and her dog, Salsa, won the public vote following a dance performance that captivated both the judging panel and audiences at home.<\/p>\n

During the second semi-final, Alesha was selected as the judge holding the golden buzzer, which she pressed for dance act LMA. Magician Fabian Fox was subsequently voted through to the final by the public.<\/p>\n

This year’s 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, with Graham Norton, Rylan Clark and Angela Scanlon on hand to provide commentary for UK audiences watching at home.<\/p>\n

Representing the UK is Look Mum No Computer, whose real name is Sam Battle. He will take to the stage to perform his track Eins, Zwei, Drei at the competition.<\/p>\n

Britain’s Got Talent airs on ITV.
