{"id":5007,"date":"2026-04-02T22:26:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T22:26:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/europe\/5007\/"},"modified":"2026-04-02T22:26:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T22:26:11","slug":"isis-calls-for-attacks-on-us-churches-and-synagogues-across-over-easter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/europe\/5007\/","title":{"rendered":"ISIS calls for attacks on US churches and synagogues across over Easter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISIS has urged Muslims to set fire to churches and synagogues across the US and Europe this weekend in a sickening Easter threat. <\/p>\n<p>The Islamist terror group issued the callous call, made in response to Israel\u2019s closing of the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, in the latest edition of its weekly propaganda outlet, al-Naba, released on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the face of the tragedy of the closure of the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, it is incumbent upon Muslims everywhere\u2014those who yearn to come to the aid of the site of their Prophet\u2019s Night Journey\u2014to rise up and set fire to the Jewish synagogues scattered across America, Europe, Russia, India, and elsewhere,\u201d ISIS declared, in a translation of al-Naba.<\/p>\n<p>ISIS has called for attacks on churches and synagogues over the weekend. REUTERS<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe same applies to the synagogues in Tunisia, Morocco, the UAE, and Syria; their locations are well-known, and their details have been published,\u201d the tirade continued.<\/p>\n<p>It called for similar attacks on churches.<\/p>\n<p>The twisted propaganda paper also called for attacks on \u201cJewish gatherings\u201d around the world, ordering its supporters to \u201cemulate the actions of the \u2018Sydney Heroes,&#8217;\u201d a disturbing reference to 2025\u2019s Hannukkah terror attacks in Australia that <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/17\/world-news\/hero-cop-who-killed-bondi-beach-terrorist-with-once-in-a-lifetime-shot-is-idd\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">left 16 dead, including one of the gunmen, and 40 wounded.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>ISIS also claimed to have caused 60 casualties in \u201c15 operations\u201d over the past week.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli authorities closed al-Aqsa mosque\u2014the third-holiest site in Islam\u2014in late February, citing the \u201csecurity situation\u201d amid the Israeli-US warn in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The chilling words were made ahead of the Easter weekend. Los Angeles Times via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have also banned mass gatherings at other religious sites such as the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n<p>Muslims call the hilltop that houses al-Aqsa the Noble Sanctuary, while Jewish people refer to it as the Temple Mount.<\/p>\n<p>Palestinian authorities have hit out at the closures to Muslims, as Jewish groups have called for access to the shuttered site to hold Passover rituals in April.<\/p>\n<p>ISIS issued the threat in its al-Naba propaganda outlet.
