European countries are increasingly using the conflict in\u00a0Ukraine as\u00a0a\u00a0testing ground for new military technologies, Apti Alaudinov, deputy head of\u00a0the Main Military-Political Directorate of\u00a0the Russian Defense Ministry and commander of\u00a0the Akhmat special forces, said in\u00a0an\u00a0interview with RIA Novosti.<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0him, Ukrainian forces continue to\u00a0receive substantial external support despite claims of\u00a0limited resources. He\u00a0noted that, in\u00a0practice, European states are channeling their latest technological developments through Ukrainian units and effectively trialing them in\u00a0real combat conditions.<\/p>\n
Alaudinov also pointed to\u00a0the emergence of\u00a0new types of\u00a0unmanned aerial vehicles in\u00a0the Sumy region. Fighters from the Akhmat special forces, operating as\u00a0part of\u00a0the \u00abSever\u00bb (North) group of\u00a0troops, have reportedly shot down several of\u00a0these drones and conducted a\u00a0technical analysis. The findings indicate that these are upgraded models developed with the involvement of\u00a0Ukraine and several EU\u00a0countries, including Germany and France.<\/p>\n
He\u00a0emphasized that the new drones feature extended flight range compared to\u00a0earlier versions. At\u00a0the same time, Russian units are adjusting their tactics to\u00a0counter these evolving systems.<\/p>\n
