Expensify<\/a> has expanded its long-standing partnership with card issuing platform Marqeta <\/a>to launch its corporate card offering across the UK and EU, extending a collaboration that has supported its programme in the US.<\/p>\n

The expansion enables Expensify to use Marqeta\u2019s multinational card issuing infrastructure to deliver its spend management platform to European businesses, as demand for automated expense management and corporate card solutions continues to grow across the region.<\/p>\n

Through Marqeta\u2019s platform, Expensify can issue physical, virtual and tokenised corporate cards tailored to different spending scenarios, including business travel, supplier payments and departmental budgets. The platform also enables spend controls at cardholder level, real-time transaction approvals and detailed spending analytics, providing businesses with greater visibility over company expenditure and cashflow.<\/p>\n

The partnership reflects a broader trend towards embedded financial services and configurable card issuing, as businesses increasingly look to integrate payments and expense management into a single workflow. Multinational issuing capabilities have become an important consideration for FinTechs expanding card programmes across multiple jurisdictions.<\/p>\n

Marqeta provides modern card issuing infrastructure to companies embedding financial services into their products and platforms. The company said it processed almost $400bn in annual payments volume during 2025 and is certified to operate in more than 40 countries, with built-in compliance and security capabilities supporting international expansion.<\/p>\n

Expensify provides expense management, travel booking and corporate card software for businesses of all sizes. The company serves more than 15 million members globally, offering tools designed to automate expense reporting and company spend management.<\/p>\n

Expensify chief strategy officer Daniel Vidal said, \u201cBusinesses across Europe are seeking expense management tools that are simple, automated, and designed to save them time and money. Through our expanded partnership with Marqeta, we\u2019re able to bring our proven corporate card capabilities to Europe, delivering the same high-quality spend management solutions our US customers rely on to businesses of any size across the region.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marqeta chief revenue officer Todd Pollak said, \u201cSupporting Expensify\u2019s expansion into Europe reflects Marqeta\u2019s commitment to enabling businesses to deliver expense management solutions with the flexibility, configurability, and control that legacy platforms cannot provide.\u201d<\/p>\n
