Pro Arte -palkinto on Didrichsenin taidemuseon vuodesta 2003 jakama, nuorille, lupaaville taiteilijoille osoitettu tunnustus, joka my\u00f6nnettiin nyt viidennen kerran. Tunnustuksen ovat aikaisemmin saaneet taidegraafikko Sari Bremer (s. 1976), kuvanveist\u00e4j\u00e4 Kim Simonsson (s. 1974) sek\u00e4 kuvataiteilijat Tamara Piilola (s. 1977) ja Karoliina Hellberg (s. 1987).<\/p>\n

Nature as a mirror of humanity at the centre of Antrei Hartikainen’s first ever museum exhibition\u00a0
\nThe exhibition Grain by Antrei Hartikainen (b. 1991), winner of the 2025 Pro Arte award, opens at the Didrichsen Art Museum on 17 October 2025. The artworks and everyday objects on display by the master cabinetmaker and designer Hartikainen reflect his versatility and open-mindedness. The Pro Arte jury was particularly impressed by Hartikainen’s dedication to the study of nature and materials, his attention to the special characteristics of wood and glass, and his uncompromising approach to his unique creative process.
<\/p>\n

\u201cThe exhibition is a tribute to the resilience of nature, a silent but inevitable force that penetrates surfaces, structures and established rules. The relationship between humans and nature is a silent, invisible force. The works in the exhibition examine growth, transformation and the simultaneous sensitivity, fragility and durability of nature. They invite us to pause, observe and feel what might otherwise go unnoticed,” Antrei Hartikainen describes.<\/p>\n

The Pro Arte award is a recognition given by the Didrichsen Art Museum since 2003 to promising young artists. This is the fifth time it has been granted. Previous recipients of the award are printmaker Sari Bremer (b. 1976), sculptor Kim Simonsson (b. 1974), and visual artists Tamara Piilola (b. 1977) and Karoliina Hellberg (b. 1987).<\/p>\n
