When forced to choose Britons prefer a Labour government led by Keir Starmer to a Reform UK government led by Nigel Farage

  1. I too prefer a plain manilla lever arch file to a turd.

  2. Thankfully we don’t have to choose between 2 political parties,

  3. Probably true in the sense that only about 25% of people polled actually want ReformUK, but that doesn’t really change the fact that in an actual election the centre to left vote is split across many more parties than the right.

Personally I’d say the best thing would be to implement AMS or PR, but Labour still have delusions of getting back a huge majority at some point in the future.

  4. Summary of Reform’s positions:

    – Remove the Equality Act 2010

    – Remove human rights via exiting ECHR and scrapping the Human Rights Act 1998

    – Threaten to fire civil servants if they work from home

    – Threaten to end working from home generally

    – Says we should join the Iran war which has caused oil prices to spike

    – Simultaneously, has no plan to improve energy, housing or transport. And has promised to scrap heat pump grants

    – Reintroduce the two-child benefit cap, which would put 400,000 kids back in deep poverty

    – Threatens to deport innocent people who’ve followed all immigration laws

    – Cosy up to anti-abortion figures in America

    – Vote against expanded abortion access in Parliament

    – Vote against clean air and water regulations in Parliament

    – Remove the Employment Rights Act 2025

    – Remove the new Renters Rights Act

    – Privatise what’s left of our assets

    – Protect pensioner benefits whilst cutting benefits for everyone else

    – Take donation money almost exclusively from out-of-touch millionaires + billionaires.

  5. And this is news?? Who the fuck wants a reform government…? (Excluding you, Nazis…)

  6. “When forced to chose Britions prefer a dick in their salad to a turd sandwich.”

  7. I’m really not sure how reflective polls currently are. Like I don’t like Labour but compared to the Reform or Greens I’d bite the bullet and support them. If the split continues like it does the vote share will be really interesting (and terrifying) to see.

  8. Starmer stinks but I’d rather almost anyone (him included) over Nigel

  9. Not much of a decision, I’d vote for a paperclip over farage.

  10. Not surprising. It’s like choosing between eating something you don’t like or eating straight poison.

  11. Yeah that’s crazy how people prefer the guy they might disagree with on a few hot issues to the guy who would literally make us a slave-state beholden to the whims of Putin and Trump.

  12. Yes because we aren’t all bigoted idiots with nothing better to do than hate on others. Some of us just want the systems to work properly, we want people that take advantage to be stopped and people that have needs to be looked after and safe in the UK.

  13. I prefer a clean rat to a diseased rat that’s already fucked the country over while under the Tories.

  14. Weird that people would prefer someone who works for the UK , not against it.

  15. This gives me hope. Hope that the absolute shit show if Farage ever came into power may all just be a nightmare.
