“France has regularly accused Russia, as well as Iran, of stirring up dissension by paying proxies to carry out small-scale acts of provocation or sabotage.”
Funny because when I suggest this, when all of a sudden, Islamist attacks increase like 200% around election times, I’m called a crazy person. So what is it, do Iran and Russia have a hand in extremist attacks to divide the nation, or can you only use that as an excuse when it’s the far right?
A law against Islamic separatism?? What part of the French Republic do French Muslims claim to seek to establish a separate state? That’s bizarre
So, out of purported concerns over the far right attacking a gathering of muslims, the government decides to ban the gathering, accomplishing the far right’s goals for them. They seem to think that showing they’re willing to do the far right’s bidding, will make the far right go away.
Policy this poor should be considered a criminal act of collaboration.
