I just received an email prompting me to check my eBox. When I clicked the link, though, it redirected me to a login page asking for my bank details—not Itsme, as I’d expect. That’s when I noticed the sender: “noreply@easybooking.eu.” I logged into my eBox the usual way, and sure enough, there was no new message waiting. It’s frustrating how sophisticated scams have become.
I almost miss the days when phishing emails were obviously fake, sent by “Nigerian princes” and riddled with spelling mistakes.

If it was a real ebox mail you would’ve received 3 copies of it.
Mine I just got was even worse except that they used Whatsapp to contact me. Hotel booking from actual hotel I booked with correct booking ID. So booking is having a major leak or the account of that hotel had a breach.
Yeah, it’s getting hard. Sometimes I wonder if you should click anything anymore.
Sometimes the ICT at work will send a phishing mail, to see who enters their details. But all that resulted in for me, is that I don’t respond or click in any e-mail. Oh you want my opinion on something, fill in this form, no thanks 😂
And then they complain results were low…
Just dezelfde gekregen
Make a habit of checking email sender before clicking a link.
I just never click a link in an email anymore.
Simple solution: when you receive a mail from Doccle, any government, eBox, whatever; never click a link. Manually open the app or website and login to check. 0 risk and 0 chance to think a real mail is a scam.
I always look at the send address before reading any mail. Should be common sense by this year.
