Yes although only from news articles. Privately owned island they can pick and choose who can visit.
I call BS on this one
There was a huge debacle about mens only club and people wanted it gone but women only island is ok?
Apprently some rich person bought the island years ago, and all opertions were shut down.
Even when it operated it was kind of an expensive place, at +4k€ per week of stay.
AI slop. There could be privately owned island(s) with such restrictions but female only beaches but otherwise it’a pure nonsense.
I had never heard of it before now, but looking at the island’s [Wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SuperShe_Island) it very much sounds like it was a place for the rich to go feel good about themselves.
