A non-partisan look at the current situation( insanity) by Tom Nichols, a former Chairman of the Strategy and Policy Dept at the US Army War College:

“The United States is a global superpower, and its military trains for war in every domain. During my years as a military educator, I saw American officers wrestle with any number of scenarios designed to challenge their thinking and force them to adapt to surprises. One case we never considered, however, was how to betray and attack our own allies. We did not ask what to do if the president becomes a threatening megalomaniac who tells one of our oldest friends, Norway, that because the Nobel Committee in Oslo refuses to give him a trophy, he no longer feels “an obligation to think purely of Peace” and can instead turn his mind toward planning to wage war against NATO.”

Hopefully this helps provide folks with an idea of where most reasonable Americans stand.

I know folks have asked about non-partisan US News sources to figure things out:

For further non partisan US news, check out: The Hill, Politico, PBS (Public Broadcasting Station), NPR (National Public Radio), Forbes, Bloomberg, The Economist, The Atlantic, All Sides News (labels sources based on bias), ABC News, and ProPublica. And no, these are not AI-generated news sites.

  1. We’ve been friends with the USA ever since both the nations were sovereign. And our 1814 constitution was heavily influenced by theirs’ and the French’s. We even share a similar history of becoming sovereign from another nation and both keep that as a fundamental part of our national identities.

It’s heartbreaking to see the USA turn so hostile towards us.
