I've been here for 3 months now and I'm still not so familiar with how these things work. Is this letter asking me whether I "want" to have my health insurance deducted from my taxes instead of my bank account? And is that mandatory or optional? Does it have any benefit? because I don't have that number yet and I'm fine if they're just going to keep deducting monthly from my bank account.
Also, where do I get this Tax Identification Number that they asked for because I received no letter that includes it and I'm also not sure what the other numbers they mentioned are. I only received a letter of my "Versicherungsnummer". If someone can briefly mention what each number is and where to get it I'd much appreciate it. Thank you so much.
