AI was of no help. I was told this was purchased in Germany (or possibly Switzerland.) The diameter is 3/4 inch. The magnetic portion is 1/4 inch. The metal's length is 1 inch. The wall anchor length is 1-1/4 inch.

I am having a hard time understanding why the dimensions would be clearly in inches. This was in my friend's home (older Europeans in America) so finding out exactly where they were purchased about thirty years ago was impossible for them to recall. I am hoping, by some miracle, some one out there can possibly ID these or point me in a direction of where something similar could be purchased.

  1. It’s not unusual to use inch in Germany for fittings etc.

I could not find the exact key ring, but I suppose you could combine a magnet like this

    with a “Stockschraube”

    to get a similar result.

Edit: in English this would be a deep pot magnet with internal thread
