Heineken to raise draught beer prices from next month

1. Pubs should stop stocking for a while. Hit then where it hurts. Most people would rather pay more for Irish craft than watch Guinness and Heineken go up 10c every 6 months

6. There are two pubs within 500m from where I live.
   One I never visit, the other maybe once a month for a meal.
   And then we have a G&T and wine with the meal.

7. Kinda feel like the first one to drop the price of a pint by €1 would make dramatically more money instead of this constant increase

8. Teach them a lesson, stop drinking it.

10. Bars and Pubs should be required to put a price label on the taps.
    Same for the optics of spirits too.

    Price shock in the pubs these days is dreadful.

    That little regulatory required notice ear one of door with a selection of prices really isn’t good enough.

11. Just a reminder, beer is made from water, barley, yeast and hops.

    Barley prices haven’t be as low as they are now in over 20 years. Hops are down 30%. Wholesale electricity prices were down in 2025.

    This is pure price gouging.
