  1. Following a large-scale Russian attack on energy infrastructure earlier this month, a significant number of Kyiv residents have been living for more than three weeks without stable electricity and, as a result, without heating.

In high-rise apartment buildings, residents are sleeping in warm clothing, searching for alternative heat sources or leaving their homes to seek assistance.

City authorities say about 15% of residential buildings in Kyiv remain without heating. With winter temperatures persisting, the situation poses a serious risk to the health and safety of thousands of residents.

  2. It’s heartbreaking to see what the Ukrainian people have to endure under russian invasion, not just in Kyiv but all over Ukraine. I hope Ukraine gets the means and the power to send the intruders back to their own godforsaken country, and the evil men behind this get what they deserve, sooner rather than later.
    Slava Ukraini.

  3. What about powering elevators in buildings? Most elderly and physically challenged people are literally trapped in their apartments. They can’t just come down to eat.
