There are EU countries where 20% of the youth are unemployed, mostly with bachelors degrees and unable to work. All the grandstanding about Greenland is the least of their worries, because for some reason you need “highly skilled workers” from a country that recently figured out how to manage sewers. It’s just such a disordered policy.
It’s going to be quite bad with hundreds of thousands if not millions of Indians trying to flood into Europe at once. Wouldn’t be surprised by the end of the decade there’s a sharp increase in extremism and support for far-right parties in Europe amongst the native Europeans.
While Trump is imposing tariffs on former allies, forcing his own population to pay more for food, pushing his country into isolationism, increasing inequality, openly betraying allies, and admiring the maniac putin,
at the same time the European Union is doing:
signing massive trade agreements with South America,
huge trade deals with India,
financing Ukraine so it can defend its people,
and expanding all its military-industrial hubs (in 2025–2026 every single one of them grew by 200 to 1000 percent).

We have bunch of people eager to work here in Europe. Like if it’s about money, there’s bunch of countries that still don’t have a high paying salaries. I work with Indians on a daily basis, I feel like I’m doing a babysitting instead of my actual job, that I should do in my Server Administrator position. If I’ll have to work with even more of them, I’m going to crash out
Finally, some positive news for Europe.
I’m sick and tired of reading about Trump throwing around more threats and tariffs.
